The Bhagavad Gita, also referred to as Gita, is a 700–verse scripture that is part of the ancient Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. It contains a conversation between pandava prince Arjuna and his guide Krishna on a variety of philosophical issues. This is a spiritual text of yoga but does not tell how to achieve the state of yoga. We must study the Yoga Sutras to learn about the science of yoga.
