NEED ONE-ON-ONE ATTENTION?

​In ancient times, yoga was taught one-on-one. Ideally, the yoga experience of each student is individualized. Today, a private session allows a more intimate personal experience. You can begin a new practice, deepen your practice or spend time working with an injury or condition. Working with a  teacher one on one, you can experience the benefits of yoga in a safe, personal way.

Private Yoga is an invaluable tool for students of all levels and experience. Private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest. Private Yoga can help you deepen your practice, gain confidence, answer questions and provide guidance. We can help you develop a home practice tailored to your individual needs.

For new students
  • Therapy and personalized approach to healing.
  • You may be intimidated by the public classroom environment.
  • Teacher can focus on you and make sure you are getting off to an appropriate start. 
  • Private yoga instruction can help you integrate into our public classes. 
  • We can also provide one-on-one classes with your teacher on an ongoing basis.

For more experienced students
  • Gain deeper insight into specific postures or categories of postures

    RELEASE/WAVIER OF LIABILITY AND AGREEMENT​​

    ​I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture and ask for support from the teacher. I will continue to breathe smoothly. Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I have been checked by my doctor and cleared to practice yoga prior to signing up for private lessons with Ricky Tran. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or may have hereafter against Ricky Tran, their heirs, successors or assigns. I agree to the above policies and pricing for private yoga lessons with Ricky Tran

    Policies

    • A payment is required to secure an spot on my schedule. We can discuss on our discovery call after I receive this questionnaire.
    • Cancellations are to be made via email or text for time stamp documentation. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, the full fee is due. 
    • Exceptions are made for clients who encounter unforeseen, life-threatening medical emergencies and family deaths/funerals.
    • Continuing clients make monthly, semi-annual, or annual commitments for the best results.
    • Monthly "roll-over" sessions are approved per incident and are credited to the following month's sessions.
    • Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
    • The details in this form are kept for the purpose of designing your yoga private session only.
    • Your information is kept completely confidential and is never shared.

Srivatsa Ramaswami, one-on-one student of T Krishnamacharya for 33 years. He is the teacher whom I have learned the most about yoga. He's taught me Krishnamacharya's Vinyasa Krama (asana, vinyasa, pranayama), direct translation of ancient texts, e.g. Yoga Sutra, Bhagavad Gita, Samkhya Karika, just to name a few. I have learned a tremendous amount of Sanskrit through this master's blessings.
